- Also called tip burn
- Often seen as the tree goes into flowering
- Typically in areas with a lot of salts in the water, specifically salts like sodium and chloride
- More obvious in years with low rainfall
- Can cause leaf drop
Control methods
- Leach salts fom the soil by applying good quality water
- Cut out the branches most affected
